Phase Two: Associate (Assistant)

The associate phase is a transitional phase; you will be working wherever you are needed. A great attitude is necessary to complete this phase. Observing and on-the-floor training will consist of; wrapping perm waves, preparing hair for up-dos, blowouts, sets, mixing color formulas and applying vegetable colors. You will also continue to fulfill your duties in the shampoo area. At the latter part of this phase you will be assigned to a stylist.

This phase includes a one night per week educational class for 3 hours.

During this phase you may become certified in at least 2 levels of haircutting and finishing.

Phase 3:

At the end of 18 months, you will be certified at 3 levels; haircutting, finishing, up-dos and customer service. After completing and passing a practical demonstration, you will be required to make an all out creative presentation that will showcase your achievements. This will include, hairstyling, color, makeup, wardrobe, music and choreography. Your family and the entire company will attend. BRAVO, you have become an official Maximus Stylist.

The Maximus Education Continues...

As a Maximus employee you will be offered a wide range of educational opportunities; ranging from in-salon workshops and product knowledge classes to off site educational programs.
